JBO turns trust among Jewish and Israeli business owners in Melbourne into connections that build real business. People first. Business follows.
What actually is JBO?
Imagine walking into a room and immediately feeling safe. That’s what JBO is all about.
We turn trust among Jewish and Israeli business owners in Melbourne into connections that build real business.
JBO is where business owners actually meet: at the table, at events, face to face, online. Where people know you and your work, trust your word, and send business your way.
This is a space we build together.
People first. Business follows.

How do I get the most out of JBO?
Honestly, the people who get the most out of this are the ones who show up for more than one thing:
- Fill out your directory profile properly, that’s how people find you and understand what you do.
- Come to the events, that’s where the real connections start.
- Be active in the community: comment, congratulate, ask for help. The community gives back what you put in.
- If you want something more structured or ongoing, stay tuned. We’ve got some good announcements coming soon on that front.
Can I promote other groups or events here?
Please don’t. We’re still at an early stage, and sending people to other places takes the potential we’re building here and weakens this community.
If you think something is genuinely worth sharing, reach out to me first.
How can I support?
There are many ways to support what we’re doing here. At the moment everything runs on volunteer time, mine and a few others’, and it’s funded mostly out of my own pocket, with some help from sponsors at the events. That’s just the honest truth of where things stand today.
As we grow there’ll be more structured ways to get involved, but for now, if you’d like to help or volunteer some time, you’re more than welcome to reach out to me directly.
